Competition

Played centrally on a Wednesday afternoon evening at the Scottsdale Netball Courts, with Saturday games played at venues around Dorset, the NENA Winter Roster is a 14 week competition running from April to August with a finals series played for all divisions.

The NENA Winter Roster is comprised of the following divisions:
12/Under Mixed
16/Under Mixed
C Grade Seniors
B Grade Seniors
A Grade Seniors

If you would like to participate in the roster, you must be a registered member of a NENA Club. Please email nena.secretary@hotmail.com if you have any questions.

The NENA Senior Mixed Netball competition will begin on Friday 20 September 2024, with the Grand Final played on Friday 22 November 2024. The fixture has now been uploaded to PlayHQ with our 9 entered teams.

Games will be played at 6:30pm and 7:15pm each week, with teams playing each other once, and having one bye throughout the roster.

Teams are required to supply a scorer and an umpire for the game that is scheduled either before or after their game on the same court.

Please note, due to the November long weekend, games will be played on Thursday 31 October instead of the Friday. NENA are still coordinating what the Scottsdale Show week games will look like - they will likely be held on the Thursday (14 November) at an alternate location – more details to come.

NENA is proud to be part of the Netball Australia Woolworths NetSetGo Program.

NetSetGo play an altered set of rules to help young children learn the rules of netball, this includes use of a size 4 netball, lowered goal posts and games are not scored.

Held on Monday afternoons inside at the Scottsdale Sports Stadium, this program is for any male or female aged between 8-10 years of age and ran for 8 weeks during Term 2. The 2024 program has concluded. More information on upcoming programs will be available in 2025.
